Poiema Community and Retreat House are running a retreat alongside the annual Grasmoor Mission Community (GMC) Buttermere Camino. The retreat runs from Friday 25th to Monday 28th July, and will centre on the theme of Pilgrimage, drawing on Luke 24, “On the road to Emmaus”.

The retreat content will start with dinner on the Friday evening, formally ending after lunch on the Sunday. Retreatants have the option to stay Sunday night and leave on the Monday morning if they would like to spend more time enjoying the locality and facilities at the Community.

A major part of the retreat will be undertaking the Buttermere Camino with the GMC on Saturday 26th, which will take all day. Retreatants will have a packed lunch provided for their pilgrimage.
