The Way of St Cuthbert

St Cuthbert, 7th century monk and Bishop of Lindisfarne, led a life of compassionate and devoted service, sharing the good news of Christ through word and deed. But at the heart of his outer life was his inner quest for God, taking up Jesus’s invitation, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest” (Mark 6:31)
In this Quiet day, we draw inspiration from Cuthbert’s way, taking time in the midst of our busy lives to explore our own inner quest for God. The day will include times of input on the theme, interspersed with time alone for personal reflection and prayer.
Time: 10am – 3.30pm
Venue: The Vicarage, Loweswater

There are limited spaces for this event, so please book your place. We suggest a donation of £10-15 per person for the day.
Please bring your own lunch. Tea & coffee will be provided.
Participants will have use of the garden and chapel, as well as the house. Parking is available at the Vicarage.
